2. Shipping and Delivery Times

2.1. Beauty Atelier is committed to processing and shipping orders as quickly as possible, ensuring an efficient and secure service. However, during periods of high order volume or for reasons beyond our control, delivery times may be delayed.

2.2. Estimated shipping times and respective costs vary depending on the destination of the order, as indicated below:

  • Mainland Portugal : Delivery within 24/48 working hours – Cost from €3.90
  • Islands (Azores and Madeira) : Delivery between 7 and 15 working days – Cost from €9.99
  • Peninsular Spain : Delivery within 24/48 working hours – Cost from €4.99

2.3. The delivery period starts from the confirmation of payment . Orders paid after 4:00 p.m. will be processed on the next business day.

2.4. Any delay in delivery, within the indicated deadlines, does not give the customer the right to compensation or indemnity.

2.5. If the order cannot be delivered due to incorrect data provided by the customer, absence at the delivery location or unjustified refusal to receive the order, Beauty Atelier reserves the right to charge new shipping costs or deduct such amounts from any refund of the order.

2.6. If, for any reason, an ordered product is temporarily unavailable , the customer will be notified and may choose to wait for the stock to be replenished, replace the item with another available item or request a refund of the corresponding amount.

2.7. Beauty Atelier's responsibility for the delivery of the order ends at the time of dispatch . Any incidents or damages caused by the carrier must be reported immediately, and the customer must follow the guidelines indicated in the Deliveries, Returns and Refunds section of these Terms and Conditions.

5. Exchange and Return Policy

Beauty Atelier values ​​the satisfaction of its customers and, therefore, offers a transparent and fair exchange and return policy, in accordance with Portuguese and European legislation applicable to electronic commerce and consumer protection.

5.1.1. The customer has a period of 14 consecutive days from the date of receipt of the order to exercise their right of free resolution and request the return or exchange of the product(s), without needing to indicate a reason.

5.1.2. Returns or exchanges will only be accepted for products that have not been opened, used or damaged , keeping the original packaging intact and in perfect marketable condition.

5.1.3. Personal care products, cosmetics, make-up, food supplements, hygiene products and other sealed items cannot be returned if they have been opened or tampered with, for safety and hygiene reasons.

5.1.4. Shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges are, as a rule, the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the return is due to an error by Beauty Atelier or a product defect.

5.2. How to Make an Exchange or Return

  • Product(s) to be returned or exchanged;

5.2.3. The customer must package the product appropriately and send it to the indicated address, bearing the shipping costs, except if the return is due to an error by Beauty Atelier .

5.3. Defective Products or Shipping Errors

5.3.1. If the customer receives a product with a manufacturing defect or an incorrect product , they must report the situation within a maximum period of 48 hours after receiving the order, attaching photographs of the product and packaging for analysis.

5.3.2. After confirmation of the error or defect, Beauty Atelier will replace the product at no cost to the customer , assuming the shipping costs for the return and reshipment.

5.3.3. If the product requested for exchange is out of stock, a discount voucher or refund will be made available to the customer.

5.4. Refunds

5.4.1. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, within a maximum period of 10 working days after receipt and validation of the returned products.

5.4.2. If payment was made by Bank Transfer , the customer must provide the bank account details (IBAN) to make the refund.

5.4.3. The refund does not include the initial shipping costs , unless the return is due to an error by Beauty Atelier .

5.5. Exceptions to the Return Policy

5.5.1. Customized products, promotional products, special offers and free gifts are not eligible for return or refund.

5.5.2. Any product that has been used, tested, opened or whose original packaging has been tampered with cannot be returned for safety and hygiene reasons.

7. Right to Free Termination

  1. Under the terms of article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14, the Customer has the right to freely terminate the purchase and sale contract, without needing to indicate any reason, within 14 consecutive days from:

  1. The Customer must return the product(s) within a maximum period of 14 days from the date on which they communicated their decision to terminate the contract , bearing the direct costs of the return, unless expressly indicated otherwise by Beauty Atelier.
  2. The refund of the amount paid will be made within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the return , using the same payment method used in the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
  3. Refunds may be withheld until the goods have been returned and checked for condition and conformity.
  4. The right of free withdrawal does not apply to products:
  • Sealed items that have been opened after delivery and which, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, cannot be returned ;
  • Customized or made according to the Client’s specifications;
  • That, by their nature, cannot be returned or are subject to rapid deterioration.
